The beauty of yoga in the everyday
After a decade as a dancer, I found yoga at a time when I needed it most. It felt like a continued thread of conversation that allowed me to reconnect to my body in a profound way. Through life’s inevitable ups and downs, yoga has been a steady anchor; a daily ritual that reminds me to flow with life. Sharing the practice with others feels like the most natural and fulfilling path.
My first teacher in New York was Chrissy Carter. Her teaching style is so creative and embodied, and watching her hold space for students, I knew this was what I wanted to do. Since moving to California, I have studied extensively with Michele Klink, Erika Trice, Alison Smith, and Maritza, each of whom has shaped my teaching in profound ways. Their wisdom, precision, and depth of practice continue to inspire me.
My classes are a thoughtful blend of alignment and fluidity, rooted in intelligent sequencing, mindful breathwork, and a deep appreciation for movement. Drawing inspiration from dance, Pilates, and traditional yoga, I aim to create a space where students feel both challenged and nurtured—a space to explore, play, and connect more fully to themselves.
Retreats offer something rare in everyday life—true presence and play. Stepping away from routine and immersing in a dedicated practice allows for a deeper connection, not just with yoga, but with ourselves and the community around us. In the beauty of new surroundings, without distractions, we can truly listen, breathe more deeply, and return home feeling renewed, inspired, and more in tune with what matters most.
I have a deep love for Trikonasana (Triangle Pose). It’s endlessly rich with exploration, accessible to all bodies, and feels so good—open, expansive, and grounded all at once.
Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose)! It takes Triangle Pose one step further, challenging balance and stability while inviting a sense of lightness and freedom. To me, it has it all.
I love exploring new places, but Ireland will always hold a special place in my heart—it’s where I feel most connected to my roots.
