What airport do I fly into?
Flying from the US: Book your flights into and out of Kahului, Maui Airport (airport code: OGG).
What if I am traveling alone?
If you prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If we are not able to find you a roommate, a single supplement will apply.
If you prefer to have your own room, the cost of a single supplement is $700 for the week.
Are all my meals included?
Breakfast and a special welcome and farewell dinner are included in the price of your program. Lunches and all other dinners are not included.
Are airport transfers included?
No, airport transfers are not included in the price of your trip. Renting a car for the duration of your stay is highly recommended as there is much to explore on the island during your free time. The road to Hana is a spectacular 49-mile drive along the coast. The road's serpentine course follows Maui's northeastern coast, skirting forested ravines and countless waterfalls. The drive takes anywhere from two to four hours, but we recommend you make it a half day.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities for housekeeping and bell servers will be included. All other gratuities (spa staff, kitchen staff, etc.) are not included.
What is the cancellation policy for this trip?
All retreats include a $500 non-refundable / non-transferable deposit, which is required to hold your spot on the trip. If you cancel prior to March 20, 2020 we will refund your payment minus the non-refundable deposit. All payments are non-refundable & non-transferable after March 20, 2020. International Yoga must strictly adhere to its cancellation policy to offset costs incurred prior to the commencement of retreat. Do I need travel insurance?
All payments to International Yoga are non-refundable & non-transferable. The purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended to ensure you are covered should any unexpected event arise. A personal, political, environmental or weather-related incident or pre-existing medical condition may prevent or interrupt your travels. These events are rare but do occur and underscore the importance of being covered by travel insurance. Should you elect to not purchase travel insurance, you will be assuming 100% of any costs incurred for trip cancellation or trip interruption. TravelEx and World Nomads are two reputable organizations. There is a broad spectrum of policies and options so make sure you are clear on what exactly is covered.
