The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is a new visa waiver program set to launch in 2025. Travelers from visa-exempt countries, including the U.S., who travel to countries within the Schengen Area will need to obtain an online travel authorization. Group airport transfers are included in your trip price. We will offer one group transfer on the first day and one on the last day of the retreat. The exact timing will be shared one month before the trip.
All breakfasts, all dinners and three lunches are included in the price of your trip. Any additional lunches should be included in your planned budget.
Yes, there’s a beautiful onsite spa at out hotel. Whether you choose a massage, a facial, or a body scrub, you can rest assured that the healing power of Sardinian herbs will leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and revitalized.
Gratuities are not included in the price of your trip. Gratuities are shared by staff, housekeeping, or other employees helping you throughout the week, and then an additional tip is always appreciated. We suggest a budget of around $10/day per guest.
We love solo-travelers and we have hundreds join us every year on retreat! If you prefer to share your room and are traveling alone, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If we are not able to find you a roommate for the room category you initially booked, we may need to move you to an alternate rooming type. In some cases, a discounted single supplement fee may need to be applied to your invoice. We will communicate this directly to you via email prior to your departure.
Attendance varies from trip to trip, but 15 - 25 attendees is a general average.
International Yoga strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. A personal, political, environmental, health, or weather-related incident may arise that can prevent or interrupt your travels. If you do not purchase travel insurance you will be assuming 100% of any costs associated with the cancellation/ interruption of your retreat. While we cannot advise on specific travel insurance policies, we recommend looking at plans through the reputable travel insurance provider, Travelex. The FAQ section at the bottom of their website is quite helpful, and they have a number you can call as well. Note that to guarantee maximum coverage, most travel insurance providers require that you obtain a policy within 10 - 15 days of placing your initial deposit.
A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot on the trip. The final balance payment is due by May 29, 2025. If you cancel before the final balance deadline we will refund any payments you have made, minus the non-refundable $1000 deposit. If you do not complete the payment on your own by the final balance deadline, the card on file will be automatically charged your remaining balance. If you register for the trip after May 29, 2025 the full amount is due at sign-up. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after May 29, 2025, no exceptions. International Yoga must strictly adhere to its cancellation policy to offset costs incurred before the commencement of the retreat.
