Celtic Flow: Weaving Yoga, Story + Stillness

Join Jenny on a retreat that blends the rich traditions of Ireland with the transformative power of yoga. Known for its lush landscapes, rich history, and warm hospitality, Ireland is an enchanting escape. Situated on a picturesque estate surrounded by gardens, orchards, and farmland in East Cork, our home for the week provides a quintessential Irish country house experience. The hotel features beautifully appointed rooms, lush gardens, and a renowned restaurant serving seasonal cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients, much of which is grown on-site. Mornings will awaken the body with an active vinyasa practice, building strength, fluidity, and connection to breath. Afternoon practices will invite a softer experience, weaving together meditative practices, mobility, and deep stillness.  Immerse yourself in the magic of Irish landscapes, folklore, and storytelling, allowing the spirit of the land to inspire reflection and renewal. This retreat is an invitation to move, to listen, and to embrace the flow of both body and story in a land steeped in wisdom and wonder.

Jenny Kaufman
Jenny believes a yoga practice is uniquely personal; the benefits are endless – from more open hips and hamstrings, greater lung capacity, healing from injury, a catalyst for a healthier lifestyle, spiritual exploration, or that mysterious yoga glow. As a student in a class setting, on a retreat, or in private instruction, she will begin with you, exactly where you are. Her goal is to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, to give clear instructions and cues that allow each person to safely explore the postures, and to help you breathe, smile, and feel more open. Jenny began practicing yoga over 25 years ago and has been teaching for the last 20. Her initial 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification is from The Chicago Yoga Center. She has also completed certification with Judith Lasater... Read More

American citizens visiting Ireland do not need a visa if they travel as a tourist with a valid U.S. passport. You will be issued a temporary tourist visa upon entry. This is valid for up to 90 days.

What is the cancellation policy for this retreat?

A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot on the trip. The final balance payment is due by January 9, 2026. If you cancel before the final balance deadline, we will refund any payments you have made, minus the non-refundable deposit. If you do not complete the payment on your own by that date, the card on file will be automatically charged your remaining balance. If you register for the trip after January 9, 2026, the full amount is due at sign-up.  All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after January 9, 2026. International Yoga must strictly adhere to its cancellation policy to offset costs incurred before the commencement of the retreat. Click here to view the Terms and Conditions to which you agree upon registration.

Are meals included?

Early morning daily herbal tea & fruit will be offered in the Grainstore before yoga, in addition to daily breakfast, 3 lunches, and 4 gourmet, multi-course dinners. All other meals should be included in your planned budget.

What if I'm traveling alone?

We love to welcome solo travelers on our retreats! Most solo travelers prefer to book a single room, however, if you prefer to share a room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If we are unable to find you a roommate, however, a single supplement will apply based on the difference in room costs. You will be notified 2 to 3 weeks before the start of the retreat if we haven't been able to match you with a roommate and we will send you an updated invoice at that time.

Do I need to bring a yoga mat or props?

The hotel has a dedicated space for yoga with mats and props available so you do not need to travel with yours.

Are gratuities included?

Gratuities are not included in the price of your trip. Tipping in Ireland is appreciated but not always expected. In restaurants, it is customary to leave a tip of about 10-15% if the service is good, although some establishments may include a service charge on the bill, in which case an additional tip is not necessary. For other services, such as taxi drivers or hotel staff, rounding up the fare or leaving a small tip is considered polite but not obligatory. We suggest a budget of around $10/day per guest.

Do I need travel insurance?

International Yoga strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. A personal, political, environmental, health, or weather-related incident may arise that can prevent or interrupt your travels. If you do not purchase travel insurance you will be assuming 100% of any costs associated with the cancellation/ interruption of your retreat. While we cannot advise on specific travel insurance policies, we recommend looking at plans through the reputable travel insurance provider, Travelex. The FAQ section at the bottom of their website is quite helpful, and they have a number you can call as well. Note that to guarantee maximum coverage, most travel insurance providers require that you obtain a policy within 10 - 15 days of placing your initial deposit.
