You will book your international flights into and out of Liberia International airport (Code: LIR) to arrive on December 30th and depart on January 6th. It takes approximately two hours from the airport to arrive at Blue Spirit.
No, there are no group airfares, as we will have people joining us from all over the US, with some arriving early, some arriving late, some using miles, etc. We are happy to provide guidance and review any itineraries you find. Please contact us before purchasing flights, and as always, travel insurance is strongly recommended.
No, airport transfers are not included in the price of your trip. However, we will collect your arrival and departure information and coordinate transportation on your behalf. We will advise on exact costs as we get closer to departure.
We get hundreds of travelers each year who go on retreat alone. If you are traveling without a friend or partner, but prefer to share your room, we will do our best to match you with another traveler of the same gender. If for some reason, we are not able to match you with a roommate, a single supplement will apply.

No, US citizens do not require a visa to travel to Costa Rica. Citizen of the US, Canada, and Panama may enter Costa Rica with a passport that remains valid at least 6 months after your travel date.
Your stay at Blue Spirit includes three delicious consciously prepared meals a day. All meals are gourmet vegetarian. A few times each week few serve fresh, locally caught fish. The daily lunch and dinner buffet includes a Pure Food Option, which offers greens, grains, and legumes without oils or seasonings. Blue spirit purchases food from local farmers and organic produce when available.
There are no required vaccinations for travel to Costa Rica. However, there are some recommended (suggested) vaccinations given by the CDC.
