Self-Love...
 
Self-love looks different for everyone... there is no one universal way to love yourself. In the pursuit of learning how to love yourself, it's important to spend time WITH yourself. Spending time in solitude,  prayer, meditation, doing spiritual practices, etc are all necessary to really learn yourself and to get really clear on what it is that you need to feel whole and complete. It is in this space that I truly believe we viscerally and emotionally feel what love feels like... The work then becomes to take the steps to abide in this nature and to notice the alarms that go off when we do not feel connected to these sensations. A form of self-love is choosing "you" over a toxic relationship, it can also look like actively choosing to be in community with people who remind you of who you are and make you feel safe enough to be who you are. 
 
I invite you to spend time with yourself as often as you can to get really clear on what it is that you need... the meditation below is a great tool to begin the journey of loving all over yourself.
