A former dancer and professional singer, her teaching reflects an artist’s deep regard for beauty and exploration. Her classes are built on a strong foundation of Iyengar yoga, while incorporating eclectic yoga technologies and plenty of humor. Years of study in Indian classical music, Sanskrit and
yogic philosophy enrich her teachings on naada yoga (the yoga of sound.) Ann currently teaches workshops both nationally and internationally in asana, chant and yoga for insomnia.

YOGA & AYURVEDA IN INDIA
INDIA • FEBRUARY 06 - FEBRUARY 13, 2011

Our journey begins on the palm-lined shores of Kerala (the home of Ayurveda), described by National Geographic as one of the ten paradises of the world. We will reside at the award-winning Somatheeram Ayurvedic Center, where each individual will receive a personal consultation with the resident Ayurvedic doctor, along with a recommended course of treatment.

Healthy, fresh meals are prepared daily according to each individual¹s dosha (constitution). Ann will teach daily morning yoga classes and evening meditation sessions, with afternoons free for prescribed massages and treatments, relaxing on the beach, or taking a backwater boat ride on one of Kerala¹s legendary houseboats. Evenings will be highlighted with teachings on Ayurveda and performances of Indian classical dance and music.

Please join us for what promises to be a transformational trip!
